Using the template provided Download template provided, compare each of the third-party payers/programs listed. Provide detailed information for columns A-F, as complete as possible with information.
When completing the template, include a minimum of the following information for each of the payers/programs and be specific.
Description of Payer, including oversight & administration (i.e. who runs it, who monitors their functioning, who pays the bills etc.).
Beneficiaries or population the payer serves. Describe any eligibility requirements (military, age, income, etc.).
Typical benefits (primary focus of covered services – be specific; do not just say medical services).
Cost Containment efforts (co-pays, deductibles, etc.).
Reimbursement Methodology(ies) used for payment (i.e. prospective payment, fee for service, etc.).
Funding how is the coverage paid for? If a government plan, where does the government get the funds?
